Info

KNova is an alternate identity of Keith Novak, a musician and audio engineer currently residing in Denver, CO. His spacey sounds are influenced by electronic pioneers such as John Cage, Karlenz Stockhausen, and Edgard Varese, in addition to new influences like Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, and Flying Lotus. When creating new music, his ideas are not limited within the framework of a specific genre, and he remains unopposed to blending ideas from art music, rock, and jazz in with the electronic tones of modern beat music.

In 2012, KNova self released his first full length album – “Nucleoacoustics” – on Joint Authority records. After taking a break in 2013 to write and refine, a sophomore effort was released in 2014: Early Morning. Both releases are available at all major digital distributors such as iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, as well as on Bandcamp. 2014 also saw the release of the shorter “Natural EP” via Bandcamp and other online retailers.

April 2015 marked the release of a new album entitled “Cubophase”. This is a collection of material from late 2014 and early 2015 which features heavy synthesizers and layered sounds. In December of the same year, an eight track album entitled “Circle and Square” was released, initially as a free download.
